KKalshi

Official rule text (Kalshi lists one market per option with the same wording; shown here for the Benjamin Netanyahu market)

If Benjamin Netanyahu becomes Prime Minister of Israel as a result of government formation following the 2026 Israeli legislative election and meets all constitutional requirements before Oct 27, 2027, then the market resolves to Yes. The market resolves to the first person who, as a result of government formation following the election, is formally appointed, sworn in, or invested as Prime Minister according to the country's constitutional procedures, commands the confidence of the parliament/legislature, and exercises the full powers of the office (not serving in a caretaker/acting capacity from the previous government). If no government forms by Oct 27, 2027, the Contract resolves to "No one" if that is an option and No for all other strikes. If new elections are called before government formation, the Contract resolves to "No one" immediately and No for all other strikes.

Legislative elections are expected to be held in Israel on October 27, 2026. This market will resolve according to the number of seats won by the Likud party in the Israeli Knesset as a result of this election. If the Likud party contests this election as part of a joint candidate list with one or more parties, all seats won by the joint candidate list will be counted. If the Likud party merges with another party prior to the election, all seats won by the resultant merged party, or any joint candidate list through which it contests the election, will be counted. If the results of this election are not definitively known by October 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the Likud party in this election. This market will resolve based on the election results, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by Israel’s Central Election Committee (Va'adet HaBehirot HaMerkazit) (https://www.gov.il/en/departments/central-elections-committee/govil-landing-page).

Legislative elections are expected to be held in Israel on October 27, 2026. This market will resolve according to the political party or coalition that wins the greatest number of seats in the Israeli Knesset as a result of this election. If the results of this election are not definitively known by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". In the event of a tie between multiple parties or coalitions for the most seats won, this market will resolve in favor of the party or coalition whose candidate list received a greater number of valid votes. In the event that results in a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the party whose listed name appears first in alphabetical order. This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the named party or coalition in the Israeli Knesset. The following rules govern the merging, joint contention, and splitting of listed parties: - If Likud or Together (or any successor party created through a merger) merge or contest the election jointly with any other party, the option corresponding to Likud or Together will represent the resultant candidate list or merged party. Otherwise: - If a listed party merges with, or contests the election as part of a joint candidate list with, one or more unlisted parties prior to the election, the option corresponding to the listed party will represent all seats won by the merged party or joint candidate list. If a listed party merges with, or contests the election as part of a joint candidate list with, one or more other listed parties prior to the election, the option corresponding to the party which held the most seats in the prior Knesset will represent all seats won by the merged party/joint candidate list. If these rules do not adequately determine which option represents a merged party or joint candidate list, the listed party whose name, as listed in this market, comes first in alphabetical order, will represent all seats won by the merged party or joint candidate list. - If a listed party splits into multiple parties prior to the election, the option corresponding to the listed party will represent the resulting party that holds the greatest number of seats in the Israeli Knesset as a result of the split. If these rules do not adequately determine which party represents a listed option after a split, the listed option will represent all seats won by the party resulting from the split whose primary English name comes first in alphabetical order.

KKalshi

Official rule text (Kalshi lists one market per option with the same wording; shown here for the Likud market)

If the winner of the next Israeli legislative election is Likud, then the market resolves to Yes. For parliamentary/legislative elections, the winner is the party, coalition, or alliance winning the most seats in the specified chamber. If two parties have the same number of seats, the one entering government will resolve to Yes and all others to No; if both or neither enter government, the one with the higher share of the vote will resolve to Yes and all others to No. This market may resolve early once a consensus of designated media sources has declared a winner. Parliamentary elections to elect the 26th Knesset are scheduled to take place on October 27, 2026. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed political party or electoral list is included in the first Israeli government formed after the 2026 Knesset election. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". This market may resolve once the composition of the first Israeli government following the 2026 Knesset election is officially confirmed and that government has formally taken office. The government is considered formed when the newly elected Knesset approves the government in a vote of confidence. A party is considered part of the government if it provides at least one Minister, including the Prime Minister. Parties that merely support the government (e.g., through confidence-and-supply arrangements, parliamentary support agreements, or similar) without holding a Minister post will not qualify. If no government is formed, or the results are not known definitively by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity, this market will resolve based on official information from the Government of Israel and the Knesset.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if general voting in the election for the 26th Knesset takes place in Israel on October 27, 2026. For the purposes of this market, "general voting" means nationwide election-day voting open to eligible voters across Israel. This market will still resolve to "Yes" if voting is postponed, cancelled, or disrupted in a limited number of individual localities or polling stations, so long as nationwide voting proceeds on October 27, 2026. This market will resolve to "No" if nationwide Knesset voting occurs before October 27, 2026 (e.g., due to a snap election), or October 27, 2026 passes without nationwide Knesset voting having occurred (e.g., due to nationwide postponement). Early or special voting mechanisms that occur before election day (e.g., voting by soldiers or citizens abroad) will not affect resolution. Only the date of general election-day voting counts. The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.

If Amichai Eliyahu formally takes office as Minister of National Security as a result of the government formation following the 2026 Israeli legislative election before Oct 27, 2027, then the market resolves to Yes. Only the first person to formally take office as Minister of National Security in the government formed after the 2026 Israeli legislative election, when it takes office or within 30 days after its first ministers are appointed, counts. An incumbent reappointed to the post counts; later reshuffles, rotations and appointments do not. Nominations, coalition agreements and announcements do not count, nor do acting, caretaker or interim service or a head of government holding the portfolio only by default while it is unassigned. If the ministry is renamed or restructured, such as back to the Ministry of Public Security, the minister of a successor ministry with substantially the same responsibilities counts. If no government is formed after the election before Oct 27, 2027, including because a new election is called first, every market resolves No.

If it is reported by The Times of Israel after Issuance and before Oct 28, 2030 that Avigdor Lieberman is the first Minister of Defense to take office in the first new Israeli government formed after the next Knesset election, then the market resolves to Yes. Only reporting from The Times of Israel qualifies for the purposes of this market. Reports that merely reference prior publications (from before Issuance) do not qualify. Republishing of content originally produced by other sources (e.g., wire services) only qualifies if the content is hosted on the outlet's official platform and the outlet is clearly identified as the publishing entity. This market concerns the first Minister of Defense to take office in the first new Israeli government formed after the next Knesset election, including a government formed after repeat elections. A new government is formed when the Knesset expresses confidence in it. A retained incumbent counts if appointed in that new government; continuation in the outgoing government does not. Minister of Defense means the holder of the Defense portfolio, including a Prime Minister who also formally holds it. An acting substitute, deputy minister, additional minister within the Defense Ministry, or Minister of National Security does not count. If the portfolio is initially vacant, the first person subsequently appointed to it in that government counts. Nominations, coalition agreements, intended appointments, and hypothetical scenarios do not qualify as taking office. Later replacements do not change the first officeholder.

If A Place for All of Us finishes in 3rd place in the 2026 Israeli Knesset election according to the certified results, then the market resolves to Yes. Ranking is determined by the specified counting method: For proportional representation: rank follows the electoral authority's final seat allocation order. Rank is based on Knesset seats, not national vote share, using the Central Elections Committee's final certified result rather than preliminary counts. A party or list awarded no seats cannot place 3rd. Joint candidate lists count as single entities. Their seats are not credited separately to constituent parties. A newly formed joint list is a separate entity; a name change alone does not change a party or list's identity. Seats of separate lists are not combined for surplus-vote agreements or post-election coalitions. If no listed party or list finishes or ties for 3rd place, every market on this event resolves NO. In case of an exact tie for 3rd place among multiple parties as certified by the election authority, the markets shall resolve to $1/(number of tied entities) rounded down. Candidates who withdraw or are disqualified after the filing deadline but remain on the ballot are ranked based on votes received.

If the first new person to hold Prime Minister of Israel after Issuance is Naftali Bennett, then the market resolves to Yes. The market resolves based on who actually assumes the office of Prime Minister, not who is elected or nominated. Acting or interim appointments count as holding the position if they formally assume the office. The person must be different from whoever held the position at market issuance - if the same person continues in office through the expiration date, all markets resolve to No. Resolution is based on official announcements from the country's legislature or government, with The New York Times as a secondary source for confirmation.

Legislative elections are expected to be held in Israel on October 27, 2026. This market will resolve according to the percentage of the national vote won by The Joint List party list in the Israeli Knesset elections. The percentage will be measured as the number of valid votes received by The Joint List's party list divided by the total number of valid votes cast in the election. Votes will be counted regardless of whether The Joint List passes the electoral threshold and wins seats in the Knesset. If The Joint List contests this election as part of a joint candidate list with one or more parties, all votes won by the joint candidate list will be counted. If The Joint List merges with another party prior to the election, all votes won by the resultant merged party, or any joint candidate list through which it contests the election, will be counted. Official rule text (Kalshi lists one market per option with the same wording; shown here for the Likud market)

If a coalition that includes Likud make up the next elected ruling government of Israel before Jan 1, 2028, then the market resolves to Yes. This market is not mutually exclusive and multiple markets may resolve to Yes. A party is considered to be part of government if one or more of its representatives hold at least one ministerial or cabinet-level position (including junior ministers or equivalent executive roles, if applicable) in the new government. This evaluation shall occur at the first official, stable formation of the government (i.e., once the legislative process for forming a government is complete and the head of state appoints ministers under normal non-caretaker circumstances). Additionally, A “confidence and supply arrangement” (or any analogous agreement), where a party does not hold formal cabinet or ministerial positions but has publicly agreed, through a formal written agreement or a widely recognized, explicitly stated political deal, to support the government on key votes (e.g., votes of confidence, budget/finance bills) without formally joining the cabinet or government, may be included in the Payout Criterion if specified in parties (e.g. parties could take the form of “The Conservative Party and the Liberal Party” as well as “The Conservative Party with the support of the Greens”). If, following the election, a caretaker or interim government is appointed temporarily before the formal government formation, this caretaker period does not count for determining a given party’s status. Additional clarification(s): Dissolution, absorption, or merger: If a party named in parties dissolves, is absorbed into, or merges with one or more other parties to form a new and distinct political party or organization prior to the relevant government formation, the originally named party shall not be considered part of government merely because its former politicians, officeholders, or assets have moved to, or been absorbed by, the new party. The resulting party is not treated as equivalent to the originally named party for purposes of this Contract, unless the circumstances instead satisfy the legal name change standard below, in which case that standard governs. Legal name change: If a party named in parties undergoes a legal name change or rebranding but remains the same underlying legal political organization (i.e., the same legal registration, organizational continuity, and party structure persist, notwithstanding the new name), the renamed party continues to count as the same party named in parties. Joint electoral list: If a party named in parties contests the election as part of a joint electoral list, alliance, or umbrella grouping: If the named party continues to exist as a distinct, separately identifiable constituent party under the umbrella list (rather than having been subsumed into it), the named party remains eligible to count toward the Payout Criterion, provided that a qualifying government officeholder (i.e., a minister, cabinet-level appointee, or equivalent executive role holder) represents, or is formally and publicly affiliated with, that named party specifically, as opposed to the umbrella list generically or another constituent party. If the joint list instead constitutes a newly consolidated party that legally replaces its constituent predecessors (such that the predecessor parties cease to exist as distinct legal or political entities), the predecessor parties named in parties do not count. Only the new consolidated party may count toward the Payout Criterion, and only if it is separately specified in parties or qualifies as a legal successor under the above legal name change clarification. Clarification (08/03/26): To clarify, this event will resolve based on the composition of the first government formed after the election upon receiving the Knesset’s confidence. Each qualifying officeholder who contested the election will be attributed to the registered party identified for that person in the candidate list approved by Israel’s Central Elections Committee. An officeholder who did not contest the election will be attributed to the registered party expressly identified for that person in official government-formation records or, if those records are silent, a formal coalition agreement. A registered-party strike will resolve Yes if a qualifying officeholder is attributed to that party. A joint-list or alliance strike will resolve Yes if the named grouping contested the election jointly and a qualifying officeholder is attributed to any registered party that submitted the list. A candidate who formally withdraws from a list before the election will be treated as not having contested the election. If the named grouping does not contest the election, former constituents running separately will not count toward its strike. A post-election faction split will not alter a candidate’s CEC-recorded affiliation. Legal party mergers, dissolutions, and name changes remain governed by the existing rules.

If at least 4,800,000 valid and invalid ballots are cast in the October 27, 2026 Israeli Knesset election, then the market resolves to Yes. The count is the total of valid and invalid ballots cast in Israel's Knesset election, as reported by the Central Elections Committee. Registered voters and ballots in other contests do not count. Subject to the contract's Fully-Conducted Elections and Accelerated Resolution Upon Designated Media Source Declarations provisions, the vote count refers to the officially certified results from the relevant election authority. Provisional, absentee, early, mail-in, or electronic ballots are included only if reflected in the official certification. The contract resolves based on officially certified results regardless of ongoing appeals. Outside those two contract provisions, preliminary counts, exit polls, projections, or uncertified results do not qualify. If the election is postponed but held within one year of the originally scheduled date, the contract remains valid; if postponed beyond one year or canceled before voting is fully conducted, all contracts resolve to No.

If A Place for All of Us finishes in 2nd place in the 2026 Israeli Knesset election according to the certified results, then the market resolves to Yes. Ranking is determined by the specified counting method: For proportional representation: rank follows the electoral authority's final seat allocation order. Rank is based on Knesset seats, not national vote share, using the Central Elections Committee's final certified result rather than preliminary counts. A party or list awarded no seats cannot place 2nd. Joint candidate lists count as single entities. Their seats are not credited separately to constituent parties. A newly formed joint list is a separate entity; a name change alone does not change a party or list's identity. Seats of separate lists are not combined for surplus-vote agreements or post-election coalitions. If no listed party or list finishes or ties for 2nd place, every market on this event resolves NO. In case of an exact tie for 2nd place among multiple parties as certified by the election authority, the markets shall resolve to $1/(number of tied entities) rounded down. Candidates who withdraw or are disqualified after the filing deadline but remain on the ballot are ranked based on votes received.

If the two parties contest on separate lists, their seats are not added together and Together’s seat count is zero. A list representing only one of these parties does not count as Together. A seat is considered "won" when a candidate affiliated with the specified party has been declared elected by the relevant electoral authority and either: The time for legal challenges has expired Challenges have been resolved The member has taken their seat Party affiliation is determined by the party under whose banner the candidate was elected, regardless of subsequent changes. The count is determined when the new legislature takes their seats, even if some seats remain vacant or challenged. If the election is postponed beyond one year from the original date or cancelled entirely, the market resolves to the last fair market price. Only seats actually contested and filled are counted in partial elections. By-elections after the main election are included only if seated simultaneously with the rest of the legislature.

If Yashar has won above 17 seats in the 2026 Israeli legislative election, then the market resolves to Yes. Note: If Yashar runs in this election as part of a joint candidate list with one or more parties, all seats won by that list will be counted. If Yashar merges with another party before the election, all seats won by the merged party will be counted, as will any seats won by a joint candidate list the merged party runs on. Yashar refers to the party led by Gadi Eisenkot at issuance. A name change alone does not change its identity. If neither Yashar nor a qualifying joint list or merged successor contests the election, its seat count is zero. FAQ

What do these markets resolve on?

Each platform resolves its market on the official result named in its own rules. The rule text is quoted on this page.

Why are the prices different on Polymarket and Kalshi?

The two platforms have different rules for what counts as winning, different fees, different users and different amounts of money in each market.

Which candidates or parties are shown?

Options listed on both Polymarket and Kalshi are compared side by side, in alphabetical order. Options listed on only one platform are shown separately, without a gap figure. The list follows the markets, not an official candidate list.

Will this page show the election result?

No. PolyKal stops updating prices before the first polls open and keeps the last pre-election prices as a snapshot. It does not report election results.

How often is the data updated?

Every 15 minutes until prices stop updating before the vote.

Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Government formation refers to a political coalition or government being approved by an investiture vote of the Knesset. An election will be considered called if the Knesset is dissolved, or if a new Knesset election is otherwise officially announced by the Israeli government. If a government is formed following the election before a new Knesset election is called, this market will immediately resolve to “No”. The failure of a government formation attempt will not alone qualify if no new Knesset election has been called. If neither occurs by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET this market will resolve to “No”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the government of Israel; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Official rule text (Kalshi lists one market per option with the same wording; shown here for the A Place for All of Us market)

Legislative elections are expected to be held in Israel on October 27, 2026. This market will resolve according to the number of seats won by United Arab List (Ra'am) in the Israeli Knesset as a result of this election. If United Arab List (Ra'am) contests this election as part of a joint candidate list with one or more parties, all seats won by the joint candidate list will be counted. If United Arab List (Ra'am) merges with another party prior to the election, all seats won by the resultant merged party, or any joint candidate list through which it contests the election, will be counted. If the results of this election are not definitively known by October 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by United Arab List (Ra'am) in this election.

Official rule text (Kalshi lists one market per option with the same wording; shown here for the At least 4,800,000 market)

Official rule text (Kalshi lists one market per option with the same wording; shown here for the A Place for All of Us market)

Official rule text (Kalshi lists one market per option with the same wording; shown here for the Above 5 market)

If Together has won above 5 seats in the 2026 Israeli legislative election, then the market resolves to Yes. Note: If Together runs in this election as part of a joint candidate list with one or more parties, all seats won by that list will be counted. If Together merges with another party before the election, all seats won by the merged party will be counted, as will any seats won by a joint candidate list the merged party runs on. Together (B’Yachad) refers to the joint electoral list of Bennett 2026 and Yesh Atid announced in April 2026, including a renamed or expanded list representing both parties.

Official rule text (Kalshi lists one market per option with the same wording; shown here for the Above 17 market)

PolyKal stops updating prices before the first polls open and does not report election results. Prices use the same method as the Midterms pages: Polymarket shows the market's displayed Yes price. Kalshi shows the midpoint of the highest Yes bid and the lowest Yes ask when they are within 8¢ of each other, and otherwise the highest Yes bid. Options with no Yes bid show —.
