Official rule text
This market will resolve to “Yes” if a snap election is called in Saxony-Anhalt by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” The calling of a snap election requires the formal dissolution of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt, or another formal scheduling, according to the rules of the jurisdiction, of an election for all members of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt prior to their scheduled election at the end of the legislative term. Dissolution by resolution of the Landtag, dissolution following a failure to elect a Minister-President, and any other means of dissolution provided for by the Constitution of the State of Saxony-Anhalt all qualify. An announcement of an intention to seek dissolution, a failed vote on dissolution, or the failure of coalition negotiations will not by itself qualify toward a “Yes” resolution. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the government of Saxony-Anhalt and the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
PolyKal stops updating prices before the first polls open and does not report election results. Prices use the same method as the Midterms pages: Polymarket shows the market's displayed Yes price. Kalshi shows the midpoint of the highest Yes bid and the lowest Yes ask when they are within 8¢ of each other, and otherwise the highest Yes bid. Options with no Yes bid show —.
